Balanced, earthy, caramel and bright.
This dark roasted version adds a deepness and hearty mouthfeel to a wonderfully balanced coffee.
Historically, the Waghi Valley was home of the Papua New Guinea stone axe tribes. These groups travelled for days from the Simbu, Enga, and Southern Highlands for the stone from this area.
At the root of this operation is Waghi Bob Hargreaves, an eccentric grower who has been adopted by the tribes of the region. Bob offers farming input and spearheads social iniciatives for its employees and the surrounding community.
The coffee boasts a light earth, wood, maple syrup aroma (before brewing). Caramel, vanilla and fresh earth with a smooth body. A bright finish balances this lovely coffee perfectly!
